Combining the nostalgia of beautifully restored steam trains with a celebration of artisan gins and spirits, this special event offers the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy a memorable visit at the Steam Railway.

Set against the backdrop of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway’s historic surroundings, Gin & Steam brings together the charm of a bygone era with a lively social atmosphere. 

Discover a selection of gin and spirits

At the heart of the event is a fantastic selection of gin and spirits for you to sample and enjoy. You will have the opportunity to discover a variety of flavours, botanicals and expertly crafted drinks across Havenstreet Station, in the Whistle Stop Café and even on board the historic steam trains.

Whether you prefer classic gin, fruity and flavoured varieties or something a little different, the Gin & Steam event offers plenty to explore. The event creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere where you can savour new favourites, relax with friends and make the most of the evening’s entertainment.

Admission to the Gin & Steam event is free, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy the lively atmosphere at Havenstreet Station.

Ride the steam railway

You can enjoy the magic of travelling on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, with steam trains running throughout the weekend. Step aboard beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages and soak up the sights, sounds and smells of traditional steam travel as you journey through our island countryside.
