Our signature Seashell Wreath and Seashell Wind-Chime workshops are inspired by our island’s beautiful coastline.

Bring along your own shells, sea glass or driftwood to make your creation even more personal, or choose from our treasure trove of seashells, sea glass, driftwood and coastal embellishments. All materials are provided, so you can simply relax, get creative and leave with a unique handmade keepsake of your time on the Isle of Wight.

Create something together and make memories that last long after your holiday.

Our workshops are perfect for families, grandparents and grandchildren, mixed-age groups and visitors looking for a fun, relaxing activity to enjoy together. They’re ideal whatever the weather, offering a welcome break from screens and a chance to reconnect through creativity.

Our weekly workshops are suitable for ages 8+, while Plan Your Own Workshops can often be adapted for younger children and different abilities. Please get in touch to discuss your group.

Weekly workshops

Looking for a creative experience during your stay or a regular opportunity to unwind?

Join one of our friendly workshops in our welcoming Ryde studio.

Our Wednesday Wellbeing Workshops offer relaxed, mindful creative sessions designed to help you slow down, connect and recharge.

Our Saturday Studio Sessions feature inspiring creative projects, from seashell crafts and dreamcatchers to macramé, paper flowers and seasonal makes. Each session offers a different project, so there’s always something new to discover.

Perfect for solo travellers, couples, friends and locals alike. Beginners are always welcome, with expert guidance, quality materials and refreshments included.

Suitable for ages 8+, with all abilities warmly welcomed.

Discover the Ryde Flower Trail

Experience Ryde in a unique and creative way with our interactive Ryde Flower Trail.

Explore the town’s independent shops, discover beautiful handmade flowers displayed in shop windows, then continue the experience by creating your own crepe paper flowers in one of our workshops.

It’s a wonderful way to discover Ryde while taking home something handmade.

Located in the heart of Ryde High Street, Island CraftWorks is surrounded by independent shops, cafés and local businesses, making it the perfect place to pause, get creative and enjoy part of your day exploring the town.

Founded by local creative facilitator Gabby Ryde, Island CraftWorks is a Community Interest Company dedicated to making creativity welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Every workshop is designed to help people of all ages and abilities relax, connect and discover the joy of creating something they’re proud to have made.
