About

Create something to take home from the Isle of Wight

Join us at Island CraftWorks for friendly, guided craft workshops in the heart of Ryde. Come on your own, with a friend or as a family. No experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

Plan your own workshop

Choose a craft, suggest a date and bring your favourite people. It’s a lovely option for a family activity, birthday, hen party or get-together. Workshops can be arranged for two or more people in our Ryde studio.

Choose your craft

Make a seashell wreath or wind chime inspired by the Island’s coastline, or explore macramé, dreamcatchers, paper flowers, seasonal decorations and more. You’re welcome to bring your own collected shells for a coastal workshop, or use the materials provided.

Join a scheduled workshop

Our Saturday Studio Workshops offer a different project each time. Wednesday Wellness Workshops are relaxed, affordable sessions where you can slow down and create alongside others. We also run seasonal workshops, including Christmas wreath making. Please see our website for current dates and booking details.

Children aged 8 and over are welcome at our scheduled workshops. If you’re planning a workshop with younger children, please get in touch so we can discuss a suitable activity. Carers are welcome, and our Ryde studio is wheelchair accessible.

Island CraftWorks is a Community Interest Company based at 130 High Street, Ryde. We’d love to welcome you, whether you live on the Island or are visiting.
