The Isle of Wight Coastal path can be split into six sections; with each part offering you something unique. Whether you’re travelling to the Island via Yarmouth, Cowes or Ryde, you’ll be able to pick up the coastal path easily from your ferry or hovercraft terminal. Lots of walkers split the route over a few days and plan where they’re going to stay in advance. The Isle of Wight Coastal Path is incredibly scenic all the way round so you’re bound to enjoy the views!
The Cowes to Yarmouth stretch gives you the chance to explore Newtown Nature Reserve.
Walk from Yarmouth to Brighstone to see the iconic Needles and enjoy some fossil hunting.
For beautiful views, try the Brighstone to Niton walk.
Relax on an award-winning beach on the Niton to Sandown stretch.
Walk from Sandown to Ryde for the chalk cliffs of Culver Down.
This coastal walk links the two historic towns of Ryde and Cowes meandering past abbey ruins and a former royal residence.
