Family holidays are perfect for bike rides and there are lots of places on the Isle of Wight where children can develop their skills in a flat and safe environment.
This gentle riverside pedal is perfect for families looking to stretch their legs and enjoy a coffee stop at the picturesque Island Harbour.
This beautiful seafront stretch is perfect for children and beginner cyclists. It’s flat, it runs alongside award winning beaches and there are plenty of opportunities for ice cream stops! If you need to hire a bike, start in Shanklin where you’ll find Route Fifty7 near the Cliff Lift.
Starting in Newport, this route is a scenic flat cycle ride to Pedallers Café and back. There are lots of opportunities to enjoy wildlife on this route and the useful signs will tell you exactly which birds and other creatures to look for.
