How about staying in an old helicopter or a James Bond submarine? Both are possible at the Windmill Campersite, at Carisbrooke, along with several other wacky options.
How about an apartment in nearby Carisbrooke Castle, close to the spot King Charles I sat, awaiting his fate at the hands of Cromwell.
