About
New festival experience on the Isle of Wight
The Isle of Wight is set to welcome one of the UK’s most exciting lifestyle festivals as Joyride Festival arrives from 12 June to 14 June 2026. The festival blends cycling, wellness, music and dining into a unique three-day escape. Taking place at Northwood House in Cowes, Joyride Festival promises a luxury glamping experience where you can relax, recharge and celebrate in one of the UK’s sunniest destinations.
Far more than a traditional cycling event, Joyride Festival has been designed to celebrate escapism. You can expect luxurious accommodation, boutique wellness facilities, world-class dining, live music and rides across our island’s spectacular landscapes. The festival welcomes everyone from experienced cyclists to complete beginners, or if you simply want to focus on wellness and relaxation.
Discover the Isle of Wight by bike
Cycling lies at the heart of the Joyride Festival experience. Riders will explore some of the Isle of Wight’s most iconic scenery, from the dramatic chalk cliffs along the Military Road to peaceful country lanes winding past orchards, fields and through villages. Routes have been carefully curated to suit all abilities, with distances ranging from relaxed rides to more challenging endurance routes.
Joyride Festival is designed to ride at your own pace and enjoy the journey on the Isle of Wight. You can choose riding groups based on pace and challenge level, with experienced ride leaders guiding every route.
You also have the option to begin their weekend early on Friday 12 June by joining “The Road to Isle of Wight”, a fully supported ride from Goodwood or Dorking to the Isle of Wight ferry.
The festival will also feature appearances from legendary names in cycling including Greg van Avermaet, Alison Jackson, Johan Museeuw, Dani Rowe, Matt Stephens and Adam Blythe, giving you the opportunity to ride alongside some of the sport’s most recognisable riding legends.
Wellness, recovery and coastal calm
Alongside the riding programme, Joyride Festival offers an extensive wellness experience centred around balance, recovery and relaxation. Broadcaster and wellness advocate Orla Chennaoui will lead a carefully curated programme including yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound healing sessions. You can also enjoy coastal trail runs and sea swims led by Annie Emmerson.
Joyride Festival is partnering with Slomo to provide a wellness experience that includes saunas, jacuzzi’s and ice baths.
Whether you’re looking for energising activities or peaceful moments to unwind, the festival’s wellness offering has been designed to support both body and mind in a stunning island setting.
Music and dining under the stars
As the sun sets over Northwood House, Joyride Festival transforms into an evening celebration of music and food. The festival’s music programme has been curated by internationally renowned DJ Pete Tong, with performances from artists including David Morales, Taylor Phinney, Rob da Bank and Annabel Stop It across two nights of live entertainment.
Dining is another key part of the festival experience. Michelin-starred chef Steve Drake will create a series of feasts celebrating the Isle of Wight’s exceptional local produce. You can enjoy shared dining experiences designed to bring people together after a day of riding or wellness activities.
The festival combines the atmosphere of a luxury retreat with the energy of a boutique music festival.
Luxury glamping in the heart of Cowes
Accommodation options at Joyride Festival range from stylish pre-pitched tents and bell tents to luxurious yurts and premium VIP experiences. All packages include accommodation, dining, festival access and participation in either the riding or wellness programme.
