Learn the ancient skill of making fire by friction. Come along to the woods and learn to craft your own bow-drill fire-lighting kit, prepare the necessary tinder, and harness the techniques to create a living ember. This is an opportunity to connect with this most vital of elements in a primitive and powerful way. Come and remember what it's like to be a natural human and at home on the earth by learning this vital skill. The day will begin with understanding the elements necessary along with a demonstration. We will then craft our own bow drill kits and in the afternoon move on to putting these into practise. Bringing fire to life demands full focus and energy, not all may succeed on the day but you will at the very least leave with a bow drill kit and an understanding of how to progress and refine your skills.
