About
Discover Wight - Archaeology Walks
This summer and autumn, join Discover Wight in collaboration with the National Trust, to bring a series of expert-guided archaeology walks across some of the Isle of Wight’s most remarkable landscapes. Led by archaeologist Kelly Wetherick, these walks offer a rare opportunity to see familiar places through entirely new eyes, reading the landscape for the stories written into it thousands of years ago. From neolithic monuments and Bronze Age sacred sites to lost medieval villages and Napoleonic fortifications, each walk unlocks a different chapter of the island’s deep history. Places are limited and booking is essential, so secure your spot early.
