Celebrating Quarr Abbey and island life through photography
Join us for a two-day programme of talks and exhibition at Quarr Abbey in the Abbey Pavilion on the 26th and 27th June, with a chance to look at wonderful photography of our island and a Celebration of Life on our island. Enjoy the opportunity to see captivating images and hear from three talented island professional photographers.
Morning talks on 26th June (10am - 1pm)
Island photographer, Steph Mackrill talks about her life as a photographer as well as her favourits shoots. Michael Dunkason an accreditated official photographer has covered 35 royal visits and Steve Berden presents lost buildings on the Isle of Wight through photographs.

Afternoon talks on 26th June (2pm - 5pm)
With so much island knowledge, Jamie Russell talks about the weather through his photographs. Chris Cornford captures all aspects of island life working as the photographer for the Observer. Penny Smith will talk about Julia Margaret Cameron who developed her own very individual style of photography. Stephen Oakes captures wild orchids in their natural habitats through his camera lens.

An exhibition showcasing Quarr Abbey and island life through photography will be on display, capturing and celebrating the spirit of our island.
