Caribbean Corner & The Hideaway
These yurts have to be in the most romantic location on the island, if not the world. Alternative suggestions welcome…
Uniquely, these two properties have direct access to Priory Bay via a private track with yummy orchard, Victorian folly and stunning woodland. Not many of you will have seen a taller or more beautiful Oak tree. The beach is sandy, tree-lined and protected from the prevailing winds.
We can collect you by RIB from Portsmouth, whiz you across the Solent and land you on a tree-lined beach just below the yurts, as if it is your own desert island.
Hidden in the trees above Priory Bay, two luxury yurts look out across the sandy beach. Secluded in the heart of nature these yurts still have all the luxuries of a comfortable hotel suite.
They were built to our own specification by local craftsman Paul. As well as providing extra height there is a smaller luxury bathroom yurt attached with Victorian bath and flushing loo.
Through a set of French doors there is a deck with barbecue, comfortable chairs and table with view. Included in the yurt is a small kitchen area with twin induction hob, toaster, kettle and fridge.
From your comfortable double beds you can gently hear the waves lapping on the beach below - the perfect way to unwind and relax from a busy schedule.
Caribbean Corner has been described by some as “a little piece of paradise”. Although the yurt is really designed for two, there is plenty of space for two little ones on bean bags. The Hideaway with the feel of a French boudoir has a romantic feel but with a mezzanine deck it also provides a memorable experience for children, where they can lie in bed and night and stare up at the stars through the treetops.
Arrival days are usually Friday or Monday.
