About

Old Church Lodge, a two bedroom Victorian National Trust holiday cottage sleeping four, is the perfect place to explore the east of the Isle of Wight.

Built in a traditional style, this single-storey stone cottage is set within its own garden and is just a few minutes walk away from the beach at St Helens, which is perfect for rockpooling, and the beautiful Duver, a former golf course. Now the sandy dunes are looked after by the National Trust and are visited by many seabirds and other wildlife. St Helens village is also just a short walk away.

Inside there is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom and in the living room a cosy open fire. Other facilities include a washing maching, freezer and dishwasher and one dog is welcome to stay.

Parking is available for two cars next to the cottage and an enclosed garden surrounds the cottage.

As Old Church Lodge is a National Trust property, guests will have free access (during opening hours) to all Isle of Wight National Trust properties. Please take your holiday confirmation invoice as proof of stay to gain entry to these properties.

From East Cowes ferry, 2nd exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Ryde along Esplanade to boating lake, follow road round to right onto A3055 to Sandown, B3330 to St Helens.

From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde then as above.

From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3054 to Ryde then as above.
