Following their hit productions of Bugsy Malone and Little Shop of Horrors, The Mitre Players return to the island with their loudest, wildest show yet – the smash-hit 80s rock musical: Rock of Ages!

We're an award winning touring dramatics group with a passion for big shows and even bigger fun – and this summer, we're bringing the party to The Apollo Theatre, Newport, from 29th July to 2nd August.

Set on LA's legendary Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages follows a small-town girl, a city boy, and their dreams of making it big in Hollywood. But when greedy developers threaten to tear down the Strip, it's up to a ragtag band of dreamers—and a whole lot of rock 'n' roll—to save the day.

Packed with over 25 epic 80s anthems, including We Built This City, Wanted Dead or Alive, Here I Go Again, I Wanna Know What Love Is, Heat of the Moment, Can't Fight This Feeling and Don't Stop Believin', this high-energy show will have you singing along from curtain up to final bow.
