Get ready for a spook-tacular time at Monkey Haven this half term! From 18 October to 2 November, we’re hosting a frightfully fun Halloween celebration filled with creepy creatures, creative crafts, spooky trails, and delicious themed treats - all set within our award-winning sanctuary.

What's happening this October half term?

Meet the minibeasts
Get up close and personal with some of nature’s tiniest terrors, from bugs to beetles, and discover the weird and wonderful world they live in!

Spooky trail and sweet treats
Follow our Halloween trail around the sanctuary and collect a little trick-or-treat surprise at the end.

Crafty creeps
Join in with Halloween-themed arts and crafts, perfect for little monsters with big imaginations.

Frightful bites at Xhabu’s Tearoom
Enjoy seasonal snacks, spooky bakes, and warming drinks, all with a frightfully fun twist!

Special events

• Don’t miss World Gibbon Day on 24th October, with special talks, activities, and celebrations dedicated to our much-loved gibbons. 
• On the 21st October  we are hosting a Free Recycled Paper Flower Workshop.
