To our valued visitors, we hope that you’re happy, healthy and staying upbeat at this time. As an Island we ask that you adhere to all Government guidelines to help protect you and those around you.

Visit the Isle of Wight and get involved in the amazing range of activities we have to offer. With over 500 miles of footpaths the Isle of Wight is one of the favoured walking destinations in the UK, and it has also been voted one of the best places in the world for cycling!
The Island is also a great place for horse riding, with exciting opportunities to retread the steps of the famous war horse Warrior, and even go riding on the beach! We are also one of the key sailing destinations in the world, with some great things on offer for enthusiasts of all abilities.

Fancy yourself as a bit of an adrenalin junkie? Why not fill your time here with a range of exciting outdoor adventure activities including mountain biking, paragliding, sea kayaking and coasteering. The Island is the perfect playground, boasting a hugely varied landscape just waiting to be explored - from sand dunes perfect for Segway riding to coastal caves surrounding colourful clear water ready to be dived into!
If it’s a more relaxing break you’re looking for, you could make the most of our wide range of wildlife and take a day out to go bird watching. Or why not enrol in a course? The Isle of Wight offers a wide range of courses, including yoga, art and golf! Many course providers also offer accommodation set within the Island’s stunning countryside so you can completely immerse yourself in the experience. You can also enjoy a peaceful days fishing by a lake, or go for a bit more of a challenge with a sea fishing charter.
The Island also offers some great festivals that you can take part in, including the Isle of Wight Walking Festival and the Randonnee. Time your visit to coincide with one of these Isle of Wight institutions and get out and about exploring the Island’s countryside.
