Getting out on the water couldn't be easier thanks to SupDog's partnership with Yak Shack's convenient self-service booking system. You can hire:

Beautiful location for water sports

Colwell Bay has earned a reputation as one of the best places on the Isle of Wight to enjoy paddle sports. The bay's sheltered conditions often provide calmer waters, making it an inviting location to experience the coastline from the sea.

As you paddle along the shoreline, you'll be treated to stunning views across the Solent while enjoying the peaceful surroundings that make this part of our island so special. The sandy beach also makes launching and returning to shore quick and straightforward.

SupDog is located approximately 150 metres to the right of the slipway when you arrive at the beach, making it easy to find before launching directly from the sand.

Easy to reach on the Isle of Wight

SupDog enjoys an excellent location between Freshwater and Totland, making it an ideal stop during a visit to West Wight. It's also only a short journey from the Wightlink ferry terminal in Yarmouth, making it perfect if you’re arriving on a day trip or enjoying a longer Isle of Wight holiday.

Parking is available close to the beach, allowing you to arrive, park and be out on the water within minutes. The convenient location makes SupDog an excellent choice for anyone looking to add a coastal adventure to their island itinerary.

What to bring

SupDog provides buoyancy aids and dry bags as part of every booking, helping you keep your belongings safe while you're out exploring the coastline.

You are encouraged to bring:

• Towels
• Suitable clothing for the weather conditions
• Snacks and drinks to enjoy after your session

Please note that changing rooms and wetsuits are not available on site, so it's worth arriving prepared for your time on the beach.
