Celebrate You On Valentine’s Day

Whether you’re single, coupled up, or somewhere in between, this event is all about celebrating love in all its forms. Join us for a night of dazzling performances, music, tease, and unapologetic self-celebration!

After last year’s incredible success, we’re back — bigger and bolder than ever! This year, we’re transforming Strings Bar and Venue into our very own cabaret, complete with intimate table seating and a spectacular Neo Burlesque, Pole and Heels Show designed to delight your senses.

As Valentine’s Day increasingly shifts away from traditional couple-centric expectations, a growing number of women are choosing to celebrate themselves — their bodies, their confidence, and their independence.

This movement will take centre stage on Saturday 14 February 2026 at Strings Bar & Venue, Newport, with the return of the Self-Love Soirée Burlesque Show. Created by award-winning dance instructor and performer Coco Monroe, the event celebrates a modern relationship with sensuality; one rooted in empowerment, choice, and joy rather than performance for others. Whether attending solo, with friends, or with a partner, audiences are invited to embrace Valentine’s Day as a celebration of self-love, pleasure, and feminine expression.

Performance highlights include:

• Coco Monroe — evocative burlesque chair dancing from the 2024 BCD Instructor for the South winner, known for her powerhouse, empowered style
• Angel Delight — performing her award-winning strip tease as Miss Classic BCD South 2025
• Shannon (Wight Arts) — gravity-defying pole artistry from the respected island dance instructor
• Isabelle (Hot Heels) — a playful, confident (clothed) private dance performed with her husband, celebrating intimacy and consent
• Our Girl G — iconic island DJ and creator of Secret Island, closing the night with her signature mash-ups to bring everyone together on the dancefloor
