Once the location for Queen Victoria's Piano Tuner and supplier - The Piano Café has a rich history in the heart of Freshwater.

Under new ownership from January 2025 the café is open 7 days a week serving an all day brunch menu and a weekly changing set dinner on Friday evenings. 

Visit Tom, Hannah & the team and enjoy a flavourful menu full of local and seasonal produce, artisan coffee and home baked treats. We are all about good food, great coffee, delicious wine and live music. We work hard with our amazing suppliers to bring you the best produce possible: our coffee is from IslandRoasted, we choose trout from a sustainable chalk stream in Romsey, Lost Mill artisan breads from Cowes, free range eggs from happy hens at Stonegate, Briddlesford farm butter, Isle of Wight milk and lots more.

Expect hearty bagels, loaded open toasts, fresh ingredients and bucket loads of flavour. Our menu offers a huge selection for vegetarians, and most dishes are fully adaptable for vegans. We also have many alternatives for gluten free diets with no compromise on flavour or quality of our dishes.

Dogs are very welcome and all well behaved cyclists. We have a cycle rack and (almost) endless supplies of flapjack to help you tackle the Island roads.
