About

The Cow Restaurant & Bar is set at the heart of Tapnell Farm in a stylishly converted Swiss Barn. Modern comfort and rustic charm seamlessly combine in a unique and welcoming family and dog friendly restaurant. There is also plenty of outdoor seating on the lawn area with amazing countryside and sea views.

The Cow champions the finest home-grown and locally sourced produce, and is renowned for it's wide range of award-winning burgers, which includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Sunday Roasts are on the menu from September.

The Cow is unique amongst Isle of Wight Restaurants; tucked away in the rural heart of the Island, surrounded by stunning views of Tennyson Down, The Solent and The New Forest – yet only a 15-minute drive from the Isle of Wight’s capital town of Newport.

The Cow Restaurant is located at Tapnell Farm, home to award winning Tom's Eco Lodge & farm accommodation, Tapnell Farm Park attraction and Isle of Wight Aqua Park.

Public Transport Directions
