The Portland Inn located in the heart of Gurnard Village, the pub has had a complete refurbishment now offering contemporary and comfortable surroundings for both drinkers & diners. The publicans Mark & Kim bring a passion to create a great local pub with a focus on serving superb food and drinks in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that you should expect from a village pub.
The Portland will offer a great selection of cask ales, beers, craft beers, ciders and selection of wines which will complement our menu
Join us for something to eat, well-cooked pub food is where we begin, with the addition of our Chef’s daily specials keeping our menu interesting.
Our menu is about seasonality and great taste, with meals produced on the premises using as much local and seasonal produce as possible. Our talented Head Chef James Wooler builds his menus to include carefully sourced ingredients from Isle of Wight suppliers, his Chefs specials will change daily dependant on availability. Many of our dishes have a lite bite option for smaller appetites.
We offer a private dining area that seats up to 20, whether its for a large group to eat from the menu or a special celebration our Head Chef will tailor a menu to suit your tastes and occasion.
The Portland is somewhere to relax, laugh and spend time with friends and family. Weather permitting head outside to enjoy a drink, lunch or evening supper in our garden.
