Kids' Adventure Camps

Set in 48 acres of woodland on the banks of Wootton Creek, and with log cabin style accommodation, it would be easy to confuse Little Canada with the country from which it draws inspiration. This is the perfect place to experience a Kids’ Adventure Camp, where 8-16 year olds can try out lots of fun activities, have the opportunity to stay away from home, make a heap of new friends and express themselves in a safe and supportive environment during the school holidays.

With over 65 years of experience, PGL is ideally placed to provide the best all-inclusive residential breaks, where your children can be assured of undivided attention from experienced group leaders, allowing them to build confidence, independence and bravery. Grouped by age, so it’s easy to make friends, they’ll experience an extensive array of non-stop activities during their stay, with over 40 adventures on land and water to try across 13 PGL centres, from abseiling to archery, canoeing to climbing, trapeze to the zip wire. With a tailored range of options available during school holidays from ‘First Timer breaks’ to ‘Specialist Holidays’, you can be sure of finding the ideal choice for your kids.

At Little Canada, there’s a fantastic range of activities on offer, including a low ropes course, abseiling towers, an archery range, giant swing and PGL’s very own creek for dragon boating and other watersports. Children also use the beach, just a short walk away, for canoeing, kayaking and many of the activities on the specialist Aqua Explorer holiday. There are also two 10m climbing and abseiling walls, sports hall, tunnel trail and the mysterious Matrix!

With 24-hour childcare and pastoral provision provided by dedicated Group Leaders plus three hearty meals, accommodation and all activities included in the price, it’s easy to see why PGL has become the market leader in kids’ camps in the UK. New for Summer 2023: Little Canada Kids’ Day Camps

Whether you’re on holiday in the Isle of Wight, searching for childcare with a difference, or just looking for a great day out for your children on your doorstep, PGL’s Day Camps are full of adventure this summer! 

Running from 8:30 – 17:30 and available for ages 8-16 years, they include up to four fun-filled adventures per day such as Archery, Climbing Wall, Trapeze, Giant Swing or Zipwire. Everything your child needs is included – so all they need to do is turn up and have fun! 

It’s also a great way to get a taste for PGL, so if you’ve been considering a longer break, like an overnight Kids’ Adventure Camp or Family Adventure Break, why not (quite literally) test the waters with a Day Camp?
