We offer a range of different ticket types to cover your journey with Island Line Trains.

Tickets can be purchased from Ryde Esplanade or Shanklin station ticket offices, buy train tickets online or from our self-service ticket machines. Within the Island Line Trains network you can also buy your ticket on board the train. Unfortunately we can't always offer you the full range of tickets from On-Train or self-service ticket machines.

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Ryde.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3054 to Ryde.

Public Transport Directions

Wightlink High speed catamarans run the route between Portsmouth Harbour station and Ryde Pier Head in around 18 minutes.
Isle of Wight Steam Railway (to Wootton) from Smallbrook Junction station.
Hovertravel Hovercraft service to Southsea at Ryde Esplanade station.
From West Cowes Red Jet Hi-speed ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 9 to Ryde.
From Yarmouth ferry: No. 7 bus route to Newport and change to No. 9 to Ryde.
