Seafarer’s View is located a few steps away from the water’s edge on Cowes High Street on the beautiful and picturesque Isle of Wight. the property has been lovingly refurbished to operate as Serviced Accommodation, having 6 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms over 5 floors, Seafarer’s comfortably sleeps 14 guests.
Seafarer’s View is unsuitable for young children and the elderly; being set over 5 stories, there are a lot of stairs and the steps up to the roof terrace are quite steep. The top floor of Seafarer’s boasts a large roof terrace with 360-degree views across the Solent and the pretty seaside High Street. Cowes has a bustling, cosmopolitan vibe, packed with artisan shops, restaurants, bars, and live music pubs. Being only minutes away from this hive of activity, the Marinas, Ferry / transport links, the waterfront parade & beach, the location is nothing short of enviable.
Downstairs there is a double bedroom and a shower room with WC and laundry facilities and a dual fuel radiator, the switch is outside the bathroom door. The first floor has its own bathroom with full size bath including an integrated shower, the bathrooms have towel rails and illuminated/mirrored cabinets with integrated shaver points. Seafarer’s View boasts a very large hot water tank which refills fairly quickly but if you are a large party of guests, please consider the others in your group when it comes to showers and keep them brief and staggered. The second floor is the main entertaining area, and the dining room has a large banquet table that can host 12 diners, there is a smart TV with Netflix included, a large beer/wine chiller and a bar for serving those important pre-evening G&Ts. The kitchen is well appointed with a sink, electric hob, oven/grill, coffee machine, fridge and freezer. All the usual kitchen essentials are also provided like kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. To help with the cleaning up, a 14 place setting dishwasher is also provided. The third floor hosts the remaining 3 bedrooms, a shower room and access to the roof terrace.
The roof terrace has seating for guests to enjoy the 360o views whilst sipping a mojito in the hot tub, there is also an electric barbecue available for some al fresco dining if you wish and there is also a gas fire pit and integrated lighting for those guests enjoying a sundowner, the light switch is by the hot tub power supply, the seating cushions are kept in the storage locker and a gas bottle is supplied with each booking.
The entire house has a strong wifi signal throughout and there is a handy QR code in the kitchen to get guest online easily
