Clock House Cottage is situated in the delightful hamlet of Brook, a National Trust protected Isle of Wight National Landscape (formerly known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), which as such boasts some of the most captivating views the island has to offer and beautiful downland walks with stunning views.

Enjoy walking, cycling or dog/family breaks in this quiet, rurally situated, no-smoking cottage in the company of a range of birdlife and red squirrels, set in extensive gardens with meadow views.

This self-catered cottage sleeps up to 4.  (additional cot available for an infant if required).

A four minute walk up the road will lead you to the adjacent hamlet of Hulverstone with its own traditional English Pub - The Sun Inn - Offering traditional ales and homemade food during holiday season.

We are situated on the Round the Island (Randonee) Cycle Route,   less than a mile from the quiet, south-west coast of the Isle of Wight, a 5 minute walk away from Brook Beach and another 10 minute walk to Compton Beach popular for surfing.  The plethora of footpaths accessible from the house is fantastic and proximity to the Southern Vectis bus network provides options for longer one-way treks attractive as well.

The busy sailing village of Yarmouth (ferry from Lymington) with its attraction of many yachts coming and going every day is 6 miles away, with a superb choice of tea rooms, shops, pubs and restaurants (many offering locally caught seafood )

A 10 minute drive will take you to the shopping town of Newport, where there are many well know food stores and 5 minutes to Freshwater Bay, also with good groceries, cafes and restaurants.

Weekly lettings during July and August,  and short breaks available for the rest of the year.

Arrival after 15.30 pm and departure before 11 am.

Electricity, linen, duvets, towels and soap are provided,  although we do ask you to bring your own beach towels.
