Captain’s Lodge is a charming cottage in a prime location in Sandown with two off-road parking spaces. Being situated just 250m from the beach means that you can visit as often as you like without having to worry about parking.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, so you can enjoy your week away with your furry friends, to make your experience even more perfect. Explore the countryside with your dog, play on the dog-friendly beaches together, or even visit the Isle of Wight’s numerous dog friendly attractions together.

In the cottage itself there’s a luxurious lounge with a huge smart tv so you can unwind in comfort, and watch a film with the whole family. Alternatively, relax in the secure back garden watching your dogs play, sunbathe in the scorching summer sun, and savour a drink to refresh yourself.

When you need to recharge for the next day of fun you can sprawl out in one of the three huge super king beds, two of which can be configured as twins on request, or scramble up to the bunk bed to sleep on top of the world. If you need a little extra space, there’s a fifth bedroom with a king size bed to ensure you can bring the entire family.

Play games and solve puzzles together in our cosy upstairs games space attached to the fifth bedroom, that comes stocked with some games and puzzles for everyone to have a great time playing together.

Sit in the dining room enjoying a meal cooked in the modern well-equipped kitchen, brand new for this season, or choose from the dizzying array of take-away, restaurants and pubs to have a meal where no one has to cook.

There are endless adventures to be had in Sandown:  experience the vast sandy beaches that make Sandown such a popular holiday destination; explore the local countryside of the area of natural beauty with you family and dogs; visit Sandown pier which is situated just a 5 minute walk from the cottage, with a myriad of activities, including dodgems, mini-golf and bowling; or venture further afield to the countless other family and pet friendly attractions of the Isle of Wight.
