The Serenata Guitar Trio are making their debut appearance on the Isle of Wight performing an evening of Classical Guitar, featuring music by Vivaldi, Boccherini, Giuliani, plus music from South America and The Movies.

John Mills: Legendary figure in the Classical Guitar World and coming from the lineage of Andres Segovia, Julian Bream and John Williams. A career spanning over 60 years all around the world and extensive work for TV and Radio. Making his debut at London's Wigmore Hall in 1971 launched his career internationally and he was also the first guitarist to perform in the newly built Queen Elizabeth Hall. Famous for his a of unmatched sumptuousness, beauty and sensitivity.

Jacoba Smit: One of the most prominent Classical Guitarists From The Netherlands. Studied at the Rotterdam and Den Haag Conservatories with Dutch guitar pedagogue, teacher and performer Hans Van Gogh. Jacoba has been a global performer of concertos, solos and chamber music since the 1970s, long standing duo partner with John Mills and celebrated for her refined technique, precision, pure sound and clarity.

Richard Mills: Dutch-English multi-instrumentalist who studied at the highly regarded Edvard Grieg Academy, Bergen, Norway and performed in masterclasses with top names in the guitar world. Richard joined the Trio in the summer of 2025 and brings experience to the group from numerous different musical genres. Known for his deeply expressive and lyrical playing.

This is an incredibly rare chance to hear one of the most celebrated guitar ensembles perform in their debut appearance in an intimate setting on the Isle of Wight.
