Visit Island Bistro situated at the Isle of Wight Airport in Sandown.

The all-weather outside seating area at Island Bistro is opposite the runway so it's the perfect place to get a bite to eat and enjoy the view of planes landing and taking off as well as watching the sunsets.

Try the popular wood fire pizzas, BBQ food, Sunday roast and there are always daily specials on offer using as much local produce as possible.

Children will love watching the planes whilst playing in the rocket garden. Your four-legged friend will also receive a big welcome.

Live music is a regular feature at the airport as well as other entertaining events.

From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake.

From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake/Sandown.
