8 Old School Mews is a striking period conversion in a former school dating back to 1883, with characterful features.  It is in a very quiet secluded position in a development of 14 homes.  Only minutes away from the Coastal Path and beaches.  The house offers plenty of space over three floors and is luxuriously furnished and equipped to a high standard.  

On the Ground Floor there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, and a cloakroom.  There is a cast iron electric fire, flat screen TV, Blu Ray/DVD player and Bluetooth speaker.  The kitchen is modern and well equipped including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.  It has large double doors leading out onto the patio.  Outside there is an enclosed private garden with garden furniture seating for six and a parasol and barbecue.  The property has allocated off road parking for one car and spaces for visitors. There is an electrical vehicle charging point for the exclusive use of guests at 8 Old School Mews.

The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and an ensuite bathroom.  The ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower with rain shower, sink and WC.  The other bedroom on this floor has a single bed with a full size pull-out trundle bed for a sixth guest.  This room also has a built in wardrobe and dressing table. On this floor there is also a family bathroom with bath with shower over, sink and WC.

On the second floor is a large master bedroom taking advantage of the surrounding views with a king size bed, built in wardrobes and dressing table.

This dog friendly property is perfectly situated for walkers, with the Coastal Path leading to both Shanklin and Sandown just minutes away. Beaches, cafes, restaurants and amusements are all within walking distance although there is also a bus stop directly outside Old School Mews. 

There are areas on local beaches where dogs are allowed all year round. Shanklin has a theatre, picturesque Chine (with café), gift shops, tea shops, gardens and crazy golf.  Nearby Sandown has an award winning beach, Dinosaur Isle, Wildheart Animal Sanctuary and family golf.

A short drive away is the picturesque village of Godshill with gift shops, model village, tea shops and restaurants. Also within easy reach are Brading Down and Culver Down with breath taking views. Close by Ventnor is a quaint Victorian seaside town with the botanical Gardens well worth a visit.
