The Waverley inn/ Hotel is a traditional Victorian family run village pub in Carisbrooke, Newport with 6 B&B rooms. Built around 1882 this famous hotel was used by a group of Suffragette’s in 1914 when campaigning on the island they were accused of cutting telephone wires and damaging a golf course.

We're nestled within an enviable position with far reaching views of Carisbrooke castle and a short distance from the end of the Tennyson trail, so excellently situated for Walking and cycling enthusiasts wanting to enjoy the island.

Doubles from (1 also has  a day bed so can sleep 3 ) from £60 to £90

Family suite sleeps up to 5 from £125 to £175 for 5 people, rate reduced for fewer guests  (1 double bed and single bed room, 1 twin beds room, large family bathroom)
