The Nightingale Hotel is situated on the cliff path in Shanklin, overlooking the stunning Shanklin bay & English Channel. The Hotel is very close to the Shanklin chine and Shanklin old village with its idyllic thatched cottages and waterfalls.
The Hotel has recently undergone a complete transformation, turning this stunning historic building into a classic boutique style hotel with a unique decor. It boasts panoramic sea views that are both viewable from the restaurant as well as the bar.
The restaurant was recently awarded an AA rosette for Culinary Excellence, it offers professional service with bespoke fine dining dishes using mainly locally sourced ingredients. The Bar & Restaurant is open to non residents and serve food and drinks from 12pm to 11pm.

Extra bed Tariff
Some of our rooms are able to fit Bunk Beds, Extra beds or a Cot. These can be put in your room by prior arrangement at an extra charge:
• Fold out bed - £20.00 per night
• Cot - £10.00 one off charge
Small well behaved dogs are accepted in a limited number of rooms by prior arrangement. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant with an exception to guide dogs and service dogs.
