Tanners is located in quiet Port La Salle around 1 mile (5 minute drive/20 minute walk, mostly along the Solent esplanade) from the centre of Yarmouth. Built in 1998 in the grounds of “Eastmore”, an estate with historical connections to the Johnnie Walker whisky empire and Countess of Caernarvon (of Tutenkhamun fame), this beautiful holiday home is a few minutes from the Solent foreshore. You will enter a welcoming hallway which leads, on the ground floor, to an open plan living & dining area and kitchen, two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a bathroom. Two sets of doors open from the living area onto the private garden – south facing so ideal for those glorious sunny days! Upstairs you will find a further double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a separate utility room.
The property is double-glazed and with gas central heating is ideal for holidays and short breaks all year round.
Guests staying for 7 nights+ are welcomed with a hamper.
Yarmouth is a beautiful town at the mouth of the River Yar and is full of history such as the 16th century Yarmouth castle and Grade II listed pier, both offering magnificent views of the Solent. The small streets are charming, the shops a delight and there is a plentiful array of pubs and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Fort Victoria and Needles Park. Yarmouth is in the heart of splendid countryside with the River Yar estuary, Bouldnor, Hamstead and Newtown offering great places for walking or cycling.

The island is popular with cyclists and has dedicated cycleways - many following the course of disused railway lines, signed routes, miles of bridleways and quiet country lanes as an alternative to busy main roads.
