Ground floor living at Groves Cottage
The ground floor of Groves Cottage offers warm and welcoming living spaces with underfloor heating and wooden flooring throughout. The living room flows into a spacious dining area and fully equipped kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar, perfect for relaxed family meals. A convenient utility room includes a washing machine and tumble dryer, while the ground-floor wet room features a shower and toilet for added practicality.
Four bedrooms, sleeps ten
Groves Cottage offers four bedrooms accommodating up to ten guests, with three bedrooms located on the first floor and an additional bedroom conveniently situated on the ground floor.
- Bedroom one features a king-size bed plus a pull-out full size single bed and en-suite bathroom that has a freestanding bath, shower cubicle and toilet.
- Bedroom 2 has a super king bed, which is link attached and can be made into two singles, and a single day bed.
- Bedroom 3 has twin beds.
- Bedroom 4 has a king-size bed and is located on the ground floor.
The family bathroom on the first floor has a freestanding bath, shower cubicle and toilet.
Facilities at Groves Cottage
A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The cottage is equipped with five Freeview TVs for everyone's entertainment. Groves Cottage is a non-smoking property.
Outside space
Outside, there is a secure, enclosed garden with furniture and a charcoal barbecue, ideal for alfresco dining on warm evenings. Ample parking is also available.

Situated in the delightful village of Newchurch, Groves Cottage enjoys a peaceful rural setting surrounded by rolling countryside. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and nature lovers, with numerous footpaths and trails nearby. Wildlife is abundant, including the Isle of Wight’s famous red squirrels and a wide variety of birdlife.

A short drive away, you’ll find Amazon World Zoo Park, The Garlic Farm, and Arreton Barns. The picturesque village of Godshill offers a model village, charming tea rooms and unique gift shops.
Within five minutes by car is Sandown, a popular seaside resort with a sandy beach, pier, amusements, crazy golf, leisure centre and a great choice of cafés and restaurants. Shanklin is also close by, home to the magical Shanklin Chine and its thatched cottages, shops and tea rooms.
There is so much to do on this sunny island, including National Trust homes and gardens, Osborne House (Queen Victoria’s former holiday abode), Carisbrooke Castle, donkey sanctuary, dinosaur museum, glass making studios and much more. Groves Cottage has a neighbouring property, Devonia Cottage, which sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. Both cottages feature enclosed gardens and can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests, ideal for larger families or groups.
