Tucked away within the Isle of Wight National Landscape is Devonia Cottage, a charming detached holiday home with an enclosed garden, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing family escape surrounded by countryside.
Ground floor living at Devonia Cottage
The ground floor at Devonia Cottage features a cosy living room and a separate dining room, both finished with wooden flooring. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, along with all essential cookware and utensils. A handy utility room provides a washing machine and tumble dryer, while a ground-floor shower room and toilet are on the ground floor for added convenience.
Three bedrooms, sleeps six
On the first floor of Devonia Cottage are three bedrooms accommodating six guests.
- Bedroom one features a king-size bed, which can be arranged as twin beds on request.
- Bedroom two is set-up as a twin but can be converted to a super-king on request.
- Bedroom three has a double bed.
The family bathroom has a shower over bath and toilet.
Facilities at Devonia Cottage
You can enjoy Freeview TV and a Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and gas central heating throughout. Gas, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. A highchair and travel cot available on request. Devonia Cottage is a non-smoking property.
Outside space
Outside, there is a private enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture and a barbecue, ideal for alfresco dining on warm evenings. Ample parking is also available.

Situated in the delightful village of Newchurch, Devonia Cottage enjoys a peaceful rural setting surrounded by rolling countryside. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and nature lovers, with numerous footpaths and trails nearby. Wildlife is abundant, including the Isle of Wight’s famous red squirrels and a wide variety of birdlife.

A short drive away, you’ll find Amazon World Zoo Park, The Garlic Farm, and Arreton Barns. The picturesque village of Godshill offers a model village, charming tea rooms and unique gift shops.
Within five minutes by car is Sandown, a popular seaside resort with a sandy beach, pier, amusements, crazy golf, leisure centre and a great choice of cafés and restaurants. Shanklin is also close by, home to the magical Shanklin Chine and its thatched cottages, shops and tea rooms.
There is so much to do on this sunny island, including National Trust homes and gardens, Osborne House (Queen Victoria’s former holiday abode), Carisbrooke Castle, donkey sanctuary, dinosaur museum, glass making studios and much more. Outdoor pursuits range from coastal walks and cycling to sailing, fishing, golf, surfing, horse riding and crabbing. Shops are just 1 mile away, with a pub and restaurant within a quarter of a mile.

Devonia Cottage has a neighbouring sister property, Groves Cottage, which sleeps up to 10 guests across four bedrooms. Both cottages feature enclosed gardens and can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests, ideal for larger families or groups.
