Beautifully decorated across two storeys, this cosy cottage sleeps four, with two comfortable bedrooms and one bathroom – perfect for a family retreat or a getaway with friends. 

Open plan living area

The ground floor features a spacious open-plan living area, complete with a comfortable lounge, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen – it’s perfect for cooking your favourite meals and relaxing after a day of adventure!

Comfortable bedrooms

Upstairs you’ll find a bright and airy double bedroom alongside a twin bedroom. They both feature skylights that fill the space with natural light. Soft bed linen and fluffy towels are provided. Also a travel cot is available on request making Delaware Cottage a great choice for families. 

Relaxing soak after a day of exploring

The bathroom is complete with a bath and overhead shower, basin and a heated towel rail, offering the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing soak after a busy day. 

Additionally, there is a handy cloakroom with a basin, another heated towel rail and WC for added convenience.

Garden and outside dining area

The rear garden (non-enclosed) has a raised decking area with an outdoor dining table and chairs offering the ideal spot to soak up the sea air over a leisurely breakfast or evening meal. 

Parking and onsite facilities

Convenient off-road parking is available and for your convenience during your stay, there’s also an on-site launderette. 

Historic harbour town of Yarmouth

The charming harbour town of Yarmouth is just a short distance away, offering a variety of places to eat and local shops to explore. History enthusiasts will enjoy visiting Yarmouth Castle, situated within the heart of the town, where you can climb the battlements and take in stunning view of the Solent.  

Explore Fort Victoria Country Park

Fort Victoria Country Park is nearby offering the perfect spot to explore Yarmouth’s picturesque coastline and enjoy the park’s many attractions. Take a well-deserved break from exploring the fort by stopping at the on-site café, where you can enjoy a delicious hot meal or simply relax with a cake and cup of tea. 

Walking trails and coastal path

Delaware Cottage offers the perfect base for exploring the many trails around Yarmouth and beyond. Wander along the scenic footpaths and trails by the River Yar, where you’ll pass marshes, forests and an old disused railway line. 

From Yarmouth you can also join the coastal path, which leads west towards the iconic Needles or east to the renowned sailing town of Cowes.
