The Corf Scout campsite is off the A3054 near the village of Shalfleet, to the north west of the Island. There are 30 individual campsites of various sizes set in 23 acres of oakwood. To the north of the site is Corf lake a class C water, which opens out to the Solent.
Corf is a great place for fun and adventure whether a small or large group. Active; Sailing, canoeing, shooting, hiking or just enjoying the “Back to nature” feel of camping.
There are play areas for younger users and a low level obstacle course with several different obstacles and challenges, Corf has a large playing field. It’s all just FUN !
The Pack Holiday Centre (PHC) building has dormitory accommodation for 30 young people and one bedroom for adults. The PHC has a separate kitchen and dining room.
The Mattinson centre is our fully equipped training facility with space for up to 60 people in the main meeting room, there are three seminar rooms off the meeting room for small meetings. The Mattinson centre has a modern kitchen.
The Mattinson centre is ideal for “Away day” team building activities and can be hired on a daily basis.
Corf is not far from the many other attractions on the Island and is an ideal base from which to work. West Wight has many great attractions and great beaches.
Available for hire are Canoes, Kayaks, Archery and Target shooting equipment. Plus tables and seats so you do not have to bring your own.
There is ample parking for vehicles of all sizes.
NB. Camping is restricted to members of the Scout and Guide associations and other youth organisations and their family members. If in doubt please contact the warden before you book.
