Discover the work of some of the Isle of Wight's leading contemporary artists in this vibrant group exhibition by the Ryde Art Collective at Quay Arts.
Bringing together a diverse collection of professional Island-based artists, the exhibition showcases a wide range of artistic styles and media, from traditional techniques to innovative contemporary and technology-led practices. Each artist presents concept-driven work inspired by personal experiences, ideas and the world around them, offering visitors a thought-provoking insight into the Island's thriving creative community.
Curated by artist and curator Maya Brasington, the exhibition highlights the individuality of each artist while celebrating the breadth of contemporary art being created on the Isle of Wight today.
The exhibition features work by Barbara Gowan, Fiona Schindler, Fran Farrar, Gillian Clarke, Jan Frith, Karen Mead, Richard May, Vincent Dupont-Blackshaw, Violet Mareck and Zoë Barker.
The exhibition takes place in the West Gallery at Quay Arts. Please note the gallery will be closed on Saturday 24 October before reopening as normal on Sunday 25 October.
