The terrace at The Steamer Inn affords panoramic views across Sandown Bay to the English Channel. Situated right on Shanklin Esplanade, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy some of the Island’s fresh seafood or perhaps while away a relaxing afternoon. A perfect location for your holiday or short break

The Steamer also provides lovely Bed and Breakfast seaside accommodation for those who understandably, just don’t want to leave! Offering eight en suite rooms some even equipped with their own private balcony perfect for sunny days staring out on the horizon. Rooms available all year round for staying visitors.

Enjoy an extensive wine list and fine selection of real ales and beers. Families will feel especially welcome as the patio looks out on miles of sandy beach. Nautical memorabilia decorates the entire pub, from the giant propeller that stands by the main entrance to the traditional fisherman’s glass floats that decorate the veranda.

Live music is available, free of charge on most weekends where you can enjoy the best variety of local artists whilst enjoying a delicious meal and well-deserved beverage.
