Pumpkin Trail at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary

Get into the Halloween spirit this October half term with a day of pumpkin-themed family fun at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary.

Open daily from 10am to 4.30pm, the sanctuary is home to more than 100 donkeys and other equines, with free entry and free parking.

During the half term holidays, little visitors can take part in the free Pumpkin Trail, searching for hidden pumpkins around the sanctuary before collecting a sweet treat as their prize. There are also free guided tours every day at 11.30am, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into life at the sanctuary and the care of its residents.

When it's time for a break, head to the café for warming seasonal soups and spooky sweet treats.

A fun-filled autumn day out for all the family — with plenty of donkeys along the way!
