Wright Zone Doggy Day Care is a calm, fully licensed dog day care based in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, offering a safe, caring and structured environment for both local dogs and visiting holidaymakers travelling to our island with their pets.

Many visitors choose the Isle of Wight because of its fantastic dog-friendly beaches, coastal walks, cafés and attractions. However, some holiday accommodation providers do not allow dogs to be left unattended, which can make it difficult for owners wanting to enjoy certain activities, restaurants or family days out during their stay.

At Wright Zone Doggy Day Care, we provide a small-scale, carefully managed day care environment where dogs can relax, socialise and feel secure while their owners explore our island with peace of mind.

Expert-led dog day care 

Owned and operated by Suzanne Wright, Wright Zone was created with a strong focus on canine welfare, calm group management and enrichment-led care. Suzanne holds a Level 3 qualification in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare and has transformed the indoor Ventnor facility into a welcoming, purpose-built environment designed around dogs’ comfort and emotional wellbeing.

Small groups and calm environment

Unlike large, busy daycare settings, Wright Zone intentionally keeps numbers small with carefully matched groups, allowing dogs to settle comfortably and receive individual attention throughout the day. The calm indoor environment includes structured enrichment activities, supervised social interaction, comfortable rest areas and an air-conditioned, temperature-controlled facility to help dogs remain relaxed in all seasons.

All dog breeds are welcome

Wright Zone welcomes a variety of breeds, personalities and ages, including nervous or sensitive dogs who may benefit from quieter introductions and gradual confidence building. Every dog attending daycare undergoes an assessment and suitability process to ensure the environment remains safe, calm and enjoyable for all guests.

Flexible day care

For visitors arriving from the mainland, induction appointments can often be arranged shortly after arrival on our island, subject to availability. Flexible daycare options may also be available for holidaymakers needing shorter “Stay & Play” sessions or occasional daytime care during their visit.
