Based on the Isle of Wight, just off the south coast of the UK, Education Destination arranges residential visits for thousands of school age children every year, including safe and secure accommodation, meals, transport and a wide choice of educational and experiential activities.

There is so much the Isle of Wight can teach us! We have worked with experienced teachers to develop engaging learning resources for most of our Isle of Wight venues, and have Key Stage 1-5 resources available for many curriculum subjects, for varying abilities. We have also developed some trails that explore key ares of the island: for Geography students we have a Coastal Trail including ferry crossing resources, for R.E. students we have a Church Trail, and for English students we have a Literary & Arts Trail. Trail resources even have general interest versions for lifelong learners! There really is something for everyone.

All resources are free to access and use when you book with us. We provide lesson plans, teacher notes and parent notes for all resources too, and some resources are pre- and post-visit, so you can start learning before the trip and consolidate learning on your return. We've done the hard work so you don't have to!

Exceptional value for money

We work closely with all of our partners to offer GREAT VALUE trips - for example a 4 night / 5 day itinerary in Autumn term 2026 or Summer 2027 with accommodation, meals, coach transport, ferry crossings and a wide range of daily activities from as little as £375pp. 

We will work with you if you have a budget to ensure that your trip is truly bespoke in meeting your objectives, whether they are educational or just for fun! We can create trips focused on any subject, at any level, for any budget.
