When the sun shines on the Isle of Wight, there’s no better place to experience a true UK seaside escape. With more sunshine hours and warmer temperatures than much of the UK, our island often feels more like the Mediterranean than the south coast of England.

From golden beaches and dramatic coastlines to outdoor activities, historic attractions, and scenic landscapes, the Isle of Wight offers endless opportunities for a perfect sunny day out. So grab your sunglasses, apply the sunscreen, and discover the best ways to enjoy our island in the sunshine.
