  • Cowes Christmas Festival: If you’re feeling festive, why not visit the Cowes on December 17th and 18th for their Christmas Festival? There will be plenty to do for kids and grown ups - as well as the chance to learn a thing or two about christmas cooking from the 2016 Masterchef winner Jane Devonshire.

  • Festive Guided Tours: Maybe you’re more like the ghost of Christmas past, and if so - the Osborne House Festival Guided Tours might be just up your street. You can join expert guides as they take you back to how Christmas was celebrated at Osborne when Queen Victoria was still on the throne.

  • Grinchmas in Ventnorville: If your heart is two sizes too small, then maybe this event is perfect for you. On December 10, the Grinch will be visiting Ventnor - so if you’re lacking christmas spirit - pop along and see if you can out grump the Grinch!

  • Santa Steam Train Specials: This year you can enjoy a festive train ride with the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. On selected days from December 10, families will have the chance to meet Santa, as well as taking in a cosy 10 mile round trip on one of the steam trains. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit!

  • Boxing Day Swim: If you’re looking for something to do to work off that massive dinner on Christmas day, why not take the plunge and go for a swim on Boxing Day? You can join hundreds more who take to the sea in Ventnor every year. Bring a hot water bottle and a flask with you for after.

  • Wight Christmas: Santa will once again be taking time to visit The Needles Landmark Attraction, and is waiting to meet girls, boys - as well as mums and dads. On Selected days from December 10th, you can visit Santa’s grotto for just £5 - which includes a gift for each visitor. You can also warm yourself with some delicious winter warmer meals and festive mince pies. Yum.
