The National Trust’s Wydcombe Cottage is a former farm cottage located in a peaceful valley surrounded by fields and near to the villages of Whitwell and Niton in the south of the Island. Nestled between these two villages means you have your pick of pubs - from the welcoming White Horse in Whitwell, to The White Lion, The Buddle and No.7 - a quirky locals bar housed in the Post Office.
Devonia Cottage is a detached home, ideal for families set in rural Newchurch. Here you can enjoy tasty local cuisine at the popular Pointer Inn or take a country walk to The Garlic Farm where you can grab a tasty meal and a drink at the licensed restaurant - you can even try the Garlic Beer!
The Mill House is a beautiful detached Georgian house dating back to the 1700s. It is attractively situated in a quiet country lane and has spectacular views across fields to the downs and is a ten-minute walk from the sea, and, maybe more importantly, just a 5 minute walk to the local pub - The Three Bishops in Brighstone, where you will find good food, local beers and regular entertainment.
Mulberry Cottage is a charming little gem, secretly tucked away behind a walled garden in one of the most enviable positions in Cowes old town and conveniently moments the centre of town with its plentiful pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés and the Cowes Yacht Haven Marina, absolutely bustling during Cowes Week.
Situated on the outer edge of the village of Chale, with stunning countryside neighbouring views, East View Cottage is located at the end of a quiet lane but also within walking distance of one of the Island’s most popular pubs - The Wight Mouse. Originally known as The Clarendon Hotel, the pub named after a famous shipwreck in the nearby waters when the ship Clarendon sunk in Chale Bay in 1836. Today you’ll find a pub perfect for the whole family and with some of the best views across the west of the Island.
St Davids is situated on the edge of the historic market town of Yarmouth and boasts stunning Solent sea views. Yarmouth might be small but it certainly has a lot of choice when it comes to pubs and bars, try The Wheatsheaf for live music, The Bugle for local beers and Salty’s for dancing on tables!
