Tapnell Manor

Tapnell Manor, near Yarmouth, is handy for the Lymington car ferry, this fabulous period farmhouse can sleep up to 26 including bunks for kids. Beautifully refurbished, retaining beamed ceilings, open fires and an Aga. Eight bath/shower rooms and laundry facilities. Outside there’s a gorgeous garden – ideal for dogs, with BBQ and pizza oven.

The Hermitage

Just outside Ventnor, The Hermitage is a grand, very elegant country house standing in 11 acres of private grounds. Geared for up to 20 people, all 10 double rooms have ensuite facilities and enchanting views. For active guests there’s a games room with snooker and table tennis and outside a popular play area for little ones together with a climbing wall, swings and playhouse.

Commanding spectacular views over Sandown Bay, Marine Villa, also known as the Art Deco House is a spacious 1930s former home which has been lovingly restored and fashionably furnished with beautiful collections from time gone by. Surrounded by extensive grounds, the house will easily accommodate 14 adults and up to five children. For disabled guests, a ground floor room with wet-room has been carefully adapted for wheelchair users.

Northcourt Manor

In the south west of the Island, Northcourt Manor is the place to be if you’re looking for a get-together for up to 40 people. Surrounded by 15 acres of gardens, paddocks and woodland, this glorious 17th century Jacobean manor can offer flexible self-catering in two separate wings for 16 and 20 people. There’s also the option of B&B in a third wing for up to six adults. The picturesque village of Shorwell with its pub and local shop are within a five minute walk.

If you’re looking for a mix of sea and countryside, Kingston Manor, close to Ventnor, is ideal for a group of 16. There are eight bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and a seven seater hot tub. Tastefully styled, this lovely period house sits within 15 acres of grounds – perfect for walking the dogs and tiring out the kids. An enclosed garden provides a safe area for both little ones and those loved but pesky pets and a play barn has been converted to keep everyone entertained with table football, snooker, ball games and scooters. 

Shalfleet Manor

Relax by the heated swimming pool, head to the tennis court or launch your canoe. Soak up the breath-taking views across Newtown Creek and the surrounding 55 acres of National Trust Nature Reserve.
