WIN a 3-night escape terms & conditions
- The Visit Isle of Wight ‘WIN a 3-night escape for two during the Spring Walking Festival' (the "Competition") is open to everyone aged over 18.
- The Competition only includes ferry travel from Lymington, Southampton, Portsmouth and Southsea to the Isle of Wight. No other travel to the Isle of Wight is included within the UK or from abroad.
- The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of Visit Isle of Wight Ltd ("VIOW"), their group companies or family members or anyone else connected to the Competition.
- Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these terms and conditions and those of other partners listed below.
- To enter the Competition you must enter your details on the visitisleofwight.co.uk competition page. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the competition, please email info@visitwight.org with ‘WIN a 3-night escape for two during the Spring Walking Festival' in the subject line.
- Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You are responsible for the cost of sending your Competition entry to us.
- No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
- The Competition closes at midday on Friday 20 March 2026. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.
- Winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries.
- The Competition is only valid between 9 May 2026 to 17 May 2026. The dates can’t be transferred to any other dates and the length of the Competition can’t be changed.
- The prize includes the following (please see individual items for specific T&Cs):
- St Maur Guest Accommodation:
- The 3-night stay can be taken anytime between the 9 – 17 May 2026.
- Breakfast is included.
- The prize has no cash alternative, and no alternative prize is available.
- Red Funnel Ferries:
- Red Funnel return ferry travel from Southampton-East Cowes for a return vehicle crossing for up to 7 people (additional passenger rates available) in a car up to 5.5m length/2m height.
- Also available for a small van up to 5.5m length/2m height.
- Only valid to travel for the Spring Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2026.
- The prize has no cash alternative, and no alternative prize is available.
- Not valid with any other Red Funnel offer or concession, including standard Travel Card holder discounts.
- For new bookings only.
- Red Funnel reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the prize without prior notice.
- Red Funnel’s standard conditions of carriage apply.
- Wightlink Ferries:
- The prize is a Wightlink free of charge single use promotion code, which the winner can use to book a return ferry ticket on any Wightlink service.
- The prize is non-refundable, subject to availability, non-transferrable and has no cash redemption value.
- Times will be subject to ferry availability.

- Hovertravel:
- Family prize ticket valid for up to 2 adults and 3 children to travel with Hovertravel Ltd between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.
- Foot passenger return tickets only valid during the Spring Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2026.
- Departure times subject to availability.
- Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred to any other product.
- Prize has no monetary value for refund or exchange and is offered via Visit Isle of Wight only.

- Southern Vectis:
- The winner will receive 2 x 48 Hour Rover and Breezer tickets for use on all the Southern Vectis bus routes, including the Open Top Bus network.
- Tickets are only valid during the Spring Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2026.
- The ticket will be gifted in the Southern Vectis APP so a valid account must be activated to receive the prize. A separate account is required for each ticket. Download the App here.
- Model Village Godshill:
- The tickets include two adult passes to Model Village Godshill.
- Only valid to redeem during the Spring Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2026.
- The prize has no cash alternative, and no alternative prize is available.
- National Trust:
- The passes will be valid for 7 days, from the date of entry to the first site, during the main open season beginning at the end of March - November.
- Passes also allow winners to use the National Trust Car Parks across our island.
- These can be available for collection from one of our island properties of choice: Mottistone Gardens, The Needles Old Battery, Newtown National Nature Reserve or Bembridge Windmill.
- All prizes within The Competition are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes and no change given. The prizes are also non-transferable to anyone including relatives and friends.
- VIOW retains the right to substitute any of the prizes with another prize of similar value in the event the original prizes offered are not available.
- If any of the prizes within The Competition are no longer available and another substitute can’t be found VIOW reserves the right at any time during the promotion of The Competition and after The Competition closes to remove this prize. This removed prize will be non-transferrable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
- The winner of the competition will be notified by phone or email on or before the 30 March 2026 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to VIOW within 2 days of being notified by VIOW or can’t accept The Competition due to their own reasons, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and VIOW shall be entitled to randomly select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the email from VIOW within 2 days and accept The Competition or else they will also forfeit their prize).
- Visit Isle of Wight reserves the right to redraw the competition prize up to three times if the initial winners do not claim their prize. If no one claims the prize after the third redraw, the competition will be considered void.
- By opting in to receive updates from VIOW, you agree that VIOW may:
- Pass your contact details to the partners offering prizes in order for them to contact you about claiming the prize.
- Transfer your contact details to a mailing list.
- Store your contact details in the mailing list.
- Send you marketing emails from the mailing list.
- Track interactions for email marketing and ad placement purposes.
- By opting in to receive updates from our competition partners, you agree that Visit Isle of Wight can share your email address with partners associated with this competition who will email you in the future. These partners will include: St Maur Guest Accommodation, Wightlink Ferries, Red Funnel Ferries, Hovertravel, Southern Vectis, Model Village Godshill and National Trust.
- Please note you can unsubscribe and/or have your data removed from VIOW's or the partner's mailing lists at any time. Please read VIOW's privacy notice here - https://www.visitisleofwight.co.uk/information/privacy-notice. This includes how VIOW processes your personal information.
- The winner may be required for promotional activity.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of VIOW for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
- VIOW accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. VIOW further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.
- VIOW reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently end this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud, supervening/intervening legislation). The decision of VIOW in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- VIOW shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening/intervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- The Competition will be governed by English law.
