Located on the Esplanade in Ventnor, Smoking Lobster offers a Pan-Asian fusion of flavours using the freshest local seafood caught with their own fishing boat and lobster pots. The innovative menu has gained two AA Rosettes. The terrace provides a splendid view of Ventnor Bay, making it an ideal spot for enjoying dishes like their signature smoked lobster or sushi platters.

The Hambrough

The Hambrough, located in Ventnor, is a fine dining restaurant that offers a sophisticated seafood menu with elevated sea views. The elegant setting and meticulously crafted dishes, such as lobster three ways, make it a perfect spot for a special occasion or just when you fancy a bit of a treat.

The Wellington

With a prime elevated location in Ventnor, The Wellington Hotel offers an exciting dining experience with panoramic sea views. Fisherman's Cottage

Set in a stunning location at the foot of Shanklin Chine and right on the beach, Fisherman’s Cottage couldn't be much nearer the sea! This original thatched pub has a heritage dating back to 1817 and has long been a haunt of the fishermen who work these waters. Specialising in seafood, the daily specials board changes with the catch, providing only the freshest of dishes.

The Spyglass Inn

One of Island’s most iconic pubs, The Spyglass Inn hugs the end of Ventnor Beach and offers a great pub menu featuring fresh seafood. Open May to September, True Food Kitchen@Castlehaven, located near Niton, is a unique spot offering stunning views of the Channel. Castlehaven Beach Café offers simple, delicious food with relaxed alfresco dining. Besty and Spinkys

Overlooking Ventnor Haven Fishery and the harbour, Betsy and Spinkys provide a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Their menu features simple seafood dishes, from calamari to fresh fish of the day. You can even take away to sit on the sea wall for an even more stunning view.

The Crab Shed

Tucked away in the secluded and picturesque Steephill Cove, The Crab Shed is open seasonally only and is known for delicious pasties mackerel ciabattas. Accessible only by foot or by boat, this hidden gem is a real seafood lover's dream.

The Met
