The cosy secluded cottage sleeps five in two bedrooms. There are many scenic countryside walks from your front door, heading out across footpaths and through National Trust land. It's a great place to watch wildlife and you might even spot a red squirrel.

Built in 1769 as a two-storey building with hay stored above shire horses, Kemphill Barn has been lovingly converted into a beautiful holiday home. Farringford Self-Catering Cottages are located within the grounds of Farringford Estate near Freshwater Bay. Farringford was the home of Alfred Lord Tennyson, Poet Laureate, from 1856 until his death in 1892. Farringford has recently undergone an extensive renovation program with the aim of restoring it to how it was when Tennyson lived at Farringford Estate. The stunning grounds and gardens reflect the times gone by with heritage planting, which guests can use during their stay.
