Take part in the Rail to Trail Walking Festival this Easter holidays, leave only actual, not carbon, footprints this April.
Ramblers, strollers, families, and friends of all abilities are invited to choose seven walks within the countryside on the Isle of Wight. Each walk start and end at different South Western Railway train stations across the Island. The walks are all led by experts keen to showcase their local area.
* Saturday 6th April - Island Trig Bagging - 9 miles - Shanklin train station.
* Sunday 7th April - Enjoy The Ryde - 7 miles - Ryde Esplanade train station.
* Monday 8th April - Back To Nature - 3 miles - Sandown train station.
* Tuesday 9th April - Brading To Ryde - 9.5 miles - Brading train station.
* Wednesday10th April - Red Squirrel Trail - 6 miles - Shanklin train station.
* Friday 12th April - Culver Down Circuit - 6 miles - Sandown train station.
* Sunday 14th April - A Marsh Meander - 3/6 miles - Brading train station.
The walks are free, but booking is essential as there are limited places available. Book by registering your interest online here.
