Tourism Extranet - DMS
Tourism Extranet is part of the Destination Management System (DMS). Via the Tourism Extranet you can check the information we hold about your business and update your contact details. Accommodation providers can also use this part of the DMS to update availability and pricing information
How to Log on to the Tourism Extranet
In Internet Explorer type in the web address http://avail.visitservices.net to access the tourism extranet.
Each provider will be given a unique user ID and password – if you need your log in details please contact Jill Harlow on 01983 821000 ext 6301 or email email@example.com (please note Jill works Monday to Wednesdays).
Once logged into the Tourism Extranet you will be able to generate a wide range of reports and statistics from Islandbreaks, and regional websites and from the call centre.
Website Reports (www.islandbreaks.co.uk)
You can monitor the effectiveness of your web presence generating your own reports. This includes number of views, emails and referrals you have received from the website. You can also generate booking reports which include the booking levels received via the on-line booking service on our website.
Regional Website Reports (www.visitsoutheastengland.com)
You can monitor the effectiveness of your web presence on the regional websites, by generating reports displaying the number of views, email and referrals you have received from the site.
Call Centre Reports
There is also the ability to generate reports on the number of times your details have been displayed, printed, emailed and telephone referrals given from the Call Centre. Plus you can generate reports displaying telephone referrals and booking levels received via the DMS in the Call Centre.
Updating your details
You can update the name and contact details of your business directly on to the DMS which automatically updates Islandbreaks.
Updating Availability (Accommodation providers only)
Once logged in accommodation providers need to use the ‘availability’ tab to update their availability and pricing information.
It is vital that providers in our booking services update availability and pricing information via this on-line system on a regular basis. This will ensure that when an availability search is undertaken, your business will display prominently in the list of search results in the applicable ranking order.
Please note if you participate in our booking services and there is no availability or pricing entered into the system your business will appear as ‘unknown’ in search result lists on our system within the Call Centre and when a customer conducts an availability search on the Islandbreaks website *.

* Please note that if you do not participate in any our booking services you will not appear in the availability search on the islandbreaks website but you do of course still appear in the generic (non-availability) accommodation search on islandbreaks.
