Walk description: Well away from the crowds, an inland walk to parts unknown even to locals! Highlights are lofty Limerstone Down, remote Rowborough Bottom, Chillerton Down transmitter and of course beautiful Shorwell.

It is advised to bring provisions, maybe a packed lunch. The walk may finish in time for the mid-afternoon bus back to Newport but is more likely to finish after that; so non-car drivers should be happy to wait in the pub for anything up to two hours!
