Matt and Cat say... "The tea room at the Roman Villa serves a decent cake and cuppa, and some good lunches as well.
Brading Roman Villa has a cafe that we recommend for afternoon tea and cake. The big windows give a nice view of the surrounding countryside as you sip your cuppa, and if you feel a bit more peckish there are usually some good lunches on offer as well. Just a little way away is Adgestone Vineyard - a place we really like for its peaceful little tea room. Obviously there's wine on offer, but if it's just massive cakes and a view over Sandown Bay that you are after, you'll find it there. For something more substantial the nearby Yarbridge Inn is a really good pub with some top quality pub grub - Matt suggests the mixed grill if you really have worked up an appetite!"
